The Badger Lightning girls hockey co-op was able to experience the memories of a WIAA Tournament win last Friday, on the road in Janesville, as the six-seed Lightning edged the three-seed Janesville Bluebirds, 4-2 in the opening round of post-season play.

River Valley welcomed in a strong non-conference opponent, Mineral Point, in boys basketball action last Tuesday night. Valley owned a halftime lead, but the visitors rallied to win, 54-45, with River Valley falling to 10-10 overall for the season.
