Two from Reedsburg and one from Cazenovia were among the list of honor students for the spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.

Reedsburg residents included Tyler Young, who had high honors, and Emily Miller, who scored honors.

Also on the list was Cazenovia native Alexandria Dwyer-Mundth, who had high honors.

 Two scholars with ties to Reedsburg made the grade at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for the spring semester.

They were Nestor Caban Hernandez, who was majoring in information studies, and Jordann Meinhardt, who was studying in the college of letters and science. Both were undergraduates.

Three area residents have earned their degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.

Abbey Fuller of Reedsburg graduated summa cum laude with a major in accounting.

Ripley Kraemer, also of Reedsburg, achieved a diploma in special education.

Peri Hineman of La Valle graduated cum laude with a degree in music.

Numerous area residents made the honors list for the spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. Of those, some achieved further distinction.

The Chancellor’s List recognizes those who hit the 4.0-mark, which is a perfect GPA.

Thurber-Greenwood VFW Post 1916 Auxiliary in Reedsburg installed new officers this summer.

Get in on the action at Reedsburg Public Library next week, July 18 to 23. There are activities and events for all ages from preschool to adult, that run the gamut from dramatic presentations, to art, DIY, writing fiction and reading to canines!

Narrows Creek Winery will host an Outdoor Concert from 1 to 2 p.m. July 16.

The Reedsburg Area Community Band will perform.

Spectators are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.

The winery will have only limited food options on this date.

Multiple students from the region strived for academic excellence during the spring semester at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, as well as its offshoots, Baraboo Sauk County and Richland.

Those scholars are listed here by hometown, name and major.

An institution of higher learning with a campus in Reedsburg has won a $7.5 million to train students for energy industries.

Reedsburg’s next Concert in the Park will feature Copper Box.

The band will play at 6:30 p.m. July 20 in Reedsburg City Park.
