Better late than never, Reedsburg Youth Football excited for game action this week

It’s later than usual but the Reedsburg Youth Football season is up and running with teams looking to play its first games of the season this weekend and next week.

Rich Hahn is the President of the Reedsburg Youth Football Board and talks about some of the steps involved to get to this point in the COVID world of 2020.

Beavers open the boys soccer season at 0-2 last week

Reedsburg’s high school boys soccer season is underway as the Beavers faced a couple of familiar foes this past week with a trip to Sauk-Prairie to play on the new artificial turf field there before hosting Portage on Thursday.

Reedsburg was unable to generate much offense and as a result, suffered shutout losses in both contests.

Beaver girls tennis has only 1 home dual match remaining

Reedsburg continues to be busy on the high school girls tennis scene with two more dual matches in recent days.

The Beavers suffered a 5-2 loss in a dual match at Sauk-Prairie on Tuesday before splitting 10 singles matches in a different format vs. DeForest last Thursday at RAHS.

Swimmers win

Sauk Prairie’s girls swimming and diving team notched a thrilling 89-81 win over Baraboo on Sept. 8. The Eagles won six of 11 events and used their depth to prevail.
