After an early season postponement, the Reedsburg Beaver cross country teams were able to host a meet for the first time this fall and the Beavers took advantage of the excellent conditions to perform well.

Momentum can be an important ingredient for high school sports teams and high school sports athletes and there’s no doubt the Reedsburg Beaver girls golf team and its members have plenty of it heading into this week’s post-season action.
Reedsburg showed some strong play last Tuesday but the Beaver boys soccer team is still in search of a victory this season after suffering setbacks to Watertown and Baraboo last week.
The Beaver volleyball team experienced its first adversity of the season last Tuesday on the home floor against a strong Madison Edgewood team but bounced back two nights later to dispose of their arch rivals from Baraboo.

After weeks of uncertainty and anticipation, the Reedsburg Beaver football team was able to kick off the 2020 season last Friday night vs. Portage at Millennium Field.
On one hand, Sauk Prairie’s football team was thrilled to begin its season last Friday. After months of uncertainty, the Eagles were just happy to have football back.
On the other hand, this certainly wasn’t the debut they were looking for.
Deep. Talented. Experienced.
Sauk Prairie’s girls volleyball team seems to have it all this fall. And the Eagles put those qualities on full display last week.
Sauk Prairie won matches over both Watertown and Portage during the week. The Eagles then won the Richland Center Triangular on Saturday.
Sauk Prairie’s doubles teams were at their best.
Unfortunately for the Eagles, they couldn’t break through in singles play.
The result was an exciting 4-3 loss to DeForest on Sept. 22.
Sauk Prairie won all three doubles matches, but the Norskies won all four singles matches.
