For the second time in four years, the Reedsburg Beaver volleyball team celebrated a WIAA Regional title on Saturday night with an exciting five-set victory at Onalaska after opening the post-season with a win at home Thursday vs. Tomah in three sets.

The Badger Conference announced last week that, similar to the fall sports season, no official conference-sanctioned events will be recognized during the winter sports season with no conference awards, and no conference championships will be awarded.
The cross-country season came to an end for the Reedsburg Beaver program on Saturday as WIAA Sectional qualifiers Jenna McBride and Caden Schneider fell short in their quest to reach this week’s WIAA State D-1 Meet.

That was the message from Sauk Prairie athletic director Josh Boyer last Friday when it came to winter sports.
Earlier in the day, the Badger Conference — which Sauk Prairie is a part of — announced it would not have an official conference winter sports season.
The Badger Conference cross country championships looked a little bit different this year.
The number of teams were down. There were fewer runners than normal.
But that didn’t stop Sauk Prairie’s runners from enjoying what was a magnificent day.
