Track and field athletes at RAHS, many of them anyway, competed in the first indoor meet of the season on Saturday at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, site of the Mauston Golden Eagle Invite.

The 2025-2026 Badger Lightning girls hockey co-op celebrated its season recently with its end of season awards banquet.

Many area high school boys and girls basketball players not only fared well on the court this season but in the classroom as well as the WBCA All-State Academic teams have been announced.

The top players in Badger Small boys basketball were recognized recently as All-Conference teams for this season have been announced.

Weston’s high school boy’s basketball program celebrated its season this past week with an end of season awards banquet. It was a disjointed season for the Silver Eagles, but they finished better under interim coach Lauretta Bormett and won a couple of games later in the season, ending up 4-18 overall.

A historic season for the boys wrestling program at RAHS was recognized last week at the Reedsburg Country Club. The Beavers won a conference title for the fifth straight year, sharing the overall title in Badger Small with Mount Horeb, which included an unbeaten conference dual season.

Year One of the Reedsburg Beaver girls wrestling squad as a standalone entity was a resounding success and the team and the season itself was recognized last week at the end of season banquet at the Reedsburg Country Club.

All-Conference Girls Basketball teams have been announced for the Ridge and Valley Conference for this season. Junior Jacey Maxwell earns first team honors for Ithaca/Weston after scoring 16 points per game this season as a consistent and productive player for I/W.

Indoor workouts will be the rule for some time for area high school softball teams as the official pre-season workouts begin this week.
