For the second time this season, the Weston Silver Eagles boys basketball squad earned a victory against Coulee Christian with Weston posting a 64-49 win on the road last Tuesday. Weston built a halftime lead and hung on for win number four on the season with Isaac Jennings erupting for 28 points with Trevor Westphal adding 12 more.

It was an entertaining game between two quality teams last Tuesday on the ice as the Reedsburg/Wisconsin Dells/Mauston boys hockey co-op made the trip to the Madison area to face off with Middleton in the opening round of the WIAA Tournament series in D-1, Sectional 3.

The Badger Lightning girls hockey co-op was able to experience the memories of a WIAA Tournament win last Friday, on the road in Janesville, as the six-seed Lightning edged the three-seed Janesville Bluebirds, 4-2 in the opening round of post-season play.
Three young ladies had a chance to represent River Valley at this year’s WIAA State Individual Girls Wrestling Tournament but all three fell short after competing at the WIAA Mineral Point Sectional on Friday night.
