Weston has found itself in the same situation as most school districts in recent years.

This spring, Weston will be among the ever-growing contingent of districts that have had to seek operational referenda just to keep the doors open.

Wisconsin Heights Drama Club is back with the latest spring musical, Anything Goes! Set on a cruise ship in the 1930s, this show is packed full of romance, humor, and amazing music. The story follows a young man going after the girl of his dreams, criminals stowed away aboard, and so much more.

Theater students at RAHS have a unique opportunity every winter.

Those who choose can be part of the Mock Trial Team, which gives students the chance to not only test their improvisational skills but also learn about the justice system.

The Weston School District invites parents to learn more about open enrolling their child.

Staff can answer questions about curriculum, athletics, extra-curricular activities and the Weston community in general.

Instrumental music at CAL Center

Reedsburg Area High School students will present two concerts next week at the CAL Center.

On March 11, the Spring Bands Clinic Concert will begin at 6 p.m. Then, on March 13, the Reedsburg Area High School Jazz Concert will start at 7 p.m.

There is no charge for either concert.

The CESA 5 Board will hold its monthly meeting on March 6.

It will begin at 6:30 p.m. at the CESA 5 building, 626 E. Slifer St., Portage.

All day 4K here to stay at Wisconsin Heights

Following a detailed and thorough presentation by Dale Green, Director of Curriculum, Instruction, & Assessment in the late fall the Wisconsin Heights School Board unanimously voted in January to continue their popular all-day 4K program. Green emphasized they were making evidence-based decisions in the decision.
