Sauk Prairie High School’s outdoor graduation ceremony on Friday, May 22, was picture-perfect — with clear skies, comfortable temperatures and a setting sun in the west—and ended, as it has as of late, with a spectacular fireworks show.

The Class of 2026 had its final day as Reedsburg Area High School students last week. They are now officially alumni.

Weston High School will honor the Class of 2026 on May 22.

Graduation will be held at 7 p.m. in the High School Gym. It is expected to wrap up by 8:30 p.m.

The Class of 2026 will take home diplomas this week.

Graduation will begin at 7:30 p.m. May 22 in the large high school gym. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.

Earth Day recognition returned to the Weston School District.

Such activities were previously organized by Noah Rothering, who retired at the end of the 2016-2017 school year. After his departure, the school district didn’t have any Earth Day events.

“I was wired for this work,” says Sauk Prairie counselor Tonya Lassanske. “School counseling didn't just fit my skills; it fit my nature.”

Sacred Heart Catholic School held its end-of-year luncheon for teachers and staff on May 5. Thrivent Financial offers Action Dollars in the amount of $250 to the school. It was matched by five anonymous donors, for a total grant of $500.

Reedsburg Area High School had several Badger Conference Top Scholars for 2026. They were honored this past weekend for their dedication, hard work, and academic excellence.
