On June 4, Sauk Prairie Lion Jerry Fiene presented a check for $3,000 to Kelly Petrowski, Tower Rock School principal, to help with the Soar program. Soar is an after-school enrichment and care program. It provides students with a safe, structured environment to build, create and explore.
The motto of the Lions is “We Serve.” The club does just that. Through several fundraising events, members donate 100% back to the community, including eye exams, glasses and hearing aids to those in need, the food pantry, Good Neighbor Clinic, Kids Ranch, the Soar program, Caring Tree, Fire on the River, Hope House, Sauk Prairie School scholarships, Lions Camp for the Disabled and Diabetes Awareness, to name a few.
