Kurtz explores rural health care issues with RAMC


Rep. Tony Kurtz, R-Wonewoc, recently visited RAMC as part of his ongoing dedication to learn more about the challenges of sustaining rural health-care maternity units. During his visit, members of the leadership team highlighted RAMC’s proactive strategies to protect and grow its maternity program. To ensure consistent, high-quality local care, it relies on modern facilities, a team-based on-call rotation for 24/7 coverage, and collaborative care models.
