School District will pursue $14 million referendum this fall


The School District of Reedsburg is looking to not only raise money for facility improvements but also for permission from taxpayers to go above the limits on what it can request in taxes. The request is necessary due to rising expenses amid stagnant State aid. (Reedsburg Independent file photo)

The School District of Reedsburg wants to renovate for the future, and it’s hoping taxpayers will agree to a $14 million referendum.

During Monday night’s School Board meeting, members agreed to put capital and operational referendum questions on the Nov. 5 ballot.
