Hertzfeldt headed to Dubuque

Sauk Prairie senior Garrett Hertzfeldt will attend the University of Dubuque this fall to study Aviation to become a commercial pilot and play football for the Spartans. “It felt like the right place to be,” Heartfelt said. “it’s great to know I have four more years to play a sport I love.” Hertzfeldt will graduate as a 12-sports season athlete, competing in football, basketball, baseball, golf and track and field. As a senior, he earned All-Badger North Conference second-team honors at running back and linebacker in football. He was a second-team selection at running back and earned honorable mention honors at defensive end as a junior. He also is the defending Badger North Conference champion in the shot put.
