Reedsburg Area Medical Center Foundation received a donation from the Bank of Wisconsin Dells for the new RAMC Physicians Group, which is slated to open early January 2025. The Reedsburg Area High School Model UN team attended the Madison Area Model United Nations Conference on Saturday, Nov. 2. The conference simulates UN committees and other bodies dealing with world problems. More than 450 students from 24 schools attended the conference at Monona Grove High School. Students researched and submitted position papers, gave speeches, caucused with other delegates, and also drafted and debated resolutions, and ultimately voted on them. The Kurtzweil family donated $5,075 to the First Tee Program at Reedsburg Country Club. The gift was made in honor of Jim Kurtzweil, who was an avid golfer and visited the course every year.
