Author Jim Draeger will deliver a presentation on his book “Wisconsin’s Historic Bars and Breweries” at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, at Kraemer Library, 910 Main St., in Plain. Draeger, along with co-author Mark Speltz, has written two award-winning books detailing state history: “Fill ’er Up: The Glory Days of Wisconsin Gas Stations” (2008) and “Bottoms Up: A Toast to Wisconsin’s Historic Bars & Breweries” (2012). The event is co-sponsored by the Old Franklin Township Historical Society and Kraemer Library. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served.
