On Saturday, Dec. 7, five Special Olympic athletes from the Reedsburg area competed at the state Special Olympic bowling tournament in Wausau. All five earned medals in their respective divisions by finishing in the top three. Ella Bernacchi (earned a third-place bronze medal), Isaiah Blair (earned a second-place silver medal), Kate Thomas (earned a second-place silver medal), and Sadik White (earned a gold medal with a first-place finish).
