First Sergeant, Steven William Whitney, Retired, born November 25, 1949, in Reedsburg, WI, passed away on March 11, 2025 at age 75 and is peacefully at rest. He was the beloved son of Lorraine (Brennan) Whitney and William (Bill) Whitney and was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Gary Whitney, and his sister Linda (Don) Schultz.

Mary Margaret McMillin, age 82, of Reedsburg, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at her home. She was born on September 29, 1942, in Richland Center, Wisconsin, the daughter of Gerald and Elizabeth (Lehmann) Zick. Mary was a graduate of Richland Center High School. She later went on to receive her Teaching Degree.
Rodney John Powell, age 70 of Reedsburg, formerly of Sandusky, WI passed away peacefully on the morning of Monday, March 3, 2025. Rod was born on June 10, 1954 to William and Miriam Powell. As Rod grew up on his family farm, so did his lifelong love for pretty much anything with an engine.
Jerome G. (Jerry) Sefkar, age 86, passed away on Friday March 7th. 2025. He was born on December 10, 1938 in Reedsburg, WI to George and Emma (Hasz) Sefkar. He graduated from Baraboo High School with the class of 1958 and on June 3rd, 1961 he was united in marriage to Judy Schubring at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Baraboo, WI.
Leonard P. “Petey” Peterson, age 67, of Wonewoc, formerly of Cazenovia, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 7, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital, Hillsboro. He was born on April 27, 1957, in Reedsburg, the son of Everett and Louise (Hanko) Peterson.
