John H. Deitelhoff

John H. Deitelhoff, age 79, of Cazenovia, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse. 

He was born on January 5, 1947 in Reedsburg, the son of Joseph S. and Florence G. (Rockweiler) Deitelhoff. On October 26, 1985 he was united in marriage to Rita (Wiedenfeld) Rockweiler

John proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. John was an avid farmer and worked at Grede Foundry for over 40 years. He was very fond of all his John Deere tractors, showing them in many parades around the area.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, Daniel and Frederick Deitelhoff.

John is survived by his wife, Rita; brothers and sister: James, Leonard (Susan), Dennis (Rita), Ruth (Bruce) Klang, and Bernard (Cyndi); many nieces and nephews, along with other relatives and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial for John will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at Holy Family Catholic Church in LaValle. Rev. John Blewett will be the officiant. Burial with military rites will be in St. Bridget’s Cemetery, rural Cazenovia. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg, and on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until 10:45 A.M.
