Amanda Sue Meeker

Amanda Sue Meeker, 38, of LaValle, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. She was born August 17, 1987 in Baraboo to Paul and Susan (Hankins) Ramsey. 

She attended Baraboo High School. On December 15, 2007, she married Andrew Meeker. She was employed by Reedsburg True Value, and provided in-home care for local residents when needed.

Amanda enjoyed being around her horses, chickens, and taking her dog everywhere. She loved to be with family and friends, bake food, crocheting and spreading her knowledge of the craft and animals to those she could.

She was preceded in death by her son, Zachary; her dad, Paul Ramsey; her father-in-law, William Meeker; and her brother-in-law, Dustin Meeker.

In addition to her husband Andrew, she is survived by her daughter, Isabell; brother, Andrew Ramsey and his wife Brianna Ramsey (Hause); sister Amber Markunas (Ramsey); her mother, Susan Ramsey (Hankins; her mother-in-law, Tamra Meeker (Lepart): sister-in-law, Amanda Meeker; nieces, Harley, Shayna, Fallon, Destiny, Janessa and Keyra; nephews, Blake, Christopher and Paul; along with other relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Amanda will be on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, at 4:00 pm at Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg.  Chaplain Mike Amberg of Home Health Hospice will officiate. Visitation will also be on Wednesday, at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
