Marjorie C. Palmer

Marjorie C. Palmer, age 79, of Reedsburg, WI, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison. She was born on October 15, 1946 in Richland Center, the daughter of Herbert A. and Leona M. (Wertz) Rockweiler. On February 4, 1967, she was united in marriage to Clarence J. Palmer.  This marriage was blessed with three sons. Clarence preceded her in death on January 21, 1972.

Marge attended St. Anthony’s School in Cazenovia and was a 1964 graduate of Weston High School. She was by employed Seats Inc., National Sportswear, and returned to work at Seats Inc. until her retirement. She enjoyed puzzles, floral gardening, and creating unforgettable memories at family gatherings for the holidays.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Conrad L. Rockweiler; and nephew, Chase Farber.

Marge is survived by her sons: Rob Palmer, Ron Palmer and Jim Palmer, all of Reedsburg; grandchildren: Matt Palmer, Tiffany (Hasanli) Palmer, Keith Palmer, Dustin Palmer and Corey Palmer; great-grandchildren: Lola Palmer, Jayden Palmer, Teymur Hasanli, Emilia Hasanli, Myles and Oakley Palmer, Clayton Palmer,  and Kendal Palmer; brother and sisters: Randall H. (Jeanee) Rockweiler, Donna B. (David) Durst and Patricia J. (David) Farber; several nieces and nephews;  along with other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Mass for Marge will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Monday, August  3, 2026 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Reedsburg with Father John Blewett officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM. Burial will be made in the Cazenovia Hillside Cemetery.
