Alyce Joyce Bailey

Alyce Joyce Bailey, age 93, of Reedsburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at her home surrounded by family.  She was born on April 28, 1933, in Campbellsport, WI, the daughter of John and Erna (Heller) Behn. 

Alyce worked as the manager of the school lunch program at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Reedsburg for 12 years and later managed the food service program in St. Clare Hospital in Baraboo for seven years until her retirement.

She was an avid outdoors person who loved camping, walking in the fall leaves and taking in all the beauty of nature.  She enjoyed boating and fishing, and traveling with her best friend, Ardith “Ardy” Carroll.  Alyce was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Reedsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary (Maynard) Hakes; granddaughter, Katherine Hakes; all her siblings and their spouses; and her special friend, George Woolever.

Alyce is survived by her children: Joseph (Susan) Bailey of New Lisbon, Jeanne (Gary) Morrison of Neilsville, Diane Parrish (Todd Halverson) of LaValle; many grandchildren, step-grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with many other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation for Alyce Bailey will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the Farber Funeral Home, Reedsburg, from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. Private family burial will follow in Oakes Cemetery.
