FREE SEED LIBRARY
April-August
Small packets of flowers and vegetable seeds will be available at the library. Take only what you will grow. Our free seed library will be out every year. New offerings will be available next year. Open April - August.
SUMMER READING PROGRAM
June 9 - August 15
Take part in our Summer Reading Program for children, teens, and adults, as we “Unearth a Story.” Record your reading with tracking sheets and enter to win cool prizes. Visit the library for fun programs and activities. Full event schedule on our website, saukcitylibrary.org. Reading program registration begins June 9 and continues all summer long.

1,000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN
Can you read 1,000 books with your child before they start kindergarten? Children and parents can earn incentives and small prizes along the way. The real reward: kids who are excited and ready to learn. Parents whose children who have not yet started 5K can sign up by visiting the library.

The library book sale is open during regular library hours. Browse used books and movies for all ages at reasonable prices in the library’s reading area. New items are added weekly. All proceeds benefit the library via the Friends of the George Culver Community Library.

Knitting Kit
Would you like to try knitting before you invest in your own supplies? Check out our Knitting Kit! The kit has everything you need to get started including beginners instructions, knitting needles and much more! A practice piece of yarn is included to work on your stitches, but you will need to provide your own yarn to create any of the projects. Check out is two weeks.
