Sauk Prairie’s 38th Annual Madrigal Faire a great time for all

Sauk Prairie High School Music Department held its 38th Annual Madrigal Faire in the River Arts Center on December 14, 2024. Students transform Leola Hall, the lobby, the gallery and the theater into a medieval castle, accompanied by period-style costumes, food and wassail, music and merriment. The highlight of every year is the belly-dancing contest, where dads of seniors show off their skills, as well as the singing of the Cantata, where all music alumni are invited on stage to perform the 5-minute medley with current student musicians. The Madrigal Faire is completely student-written and student-lead, supervised by Sauk Prairie High School Choir Director, Matthew Brennan and Sauk Prairie High School Band Director, Matthew Koscinski.
