Letter to the editor

Editor:   My heartfelt thanks to all who made the Help Excite Little People (H.E.L.P.) project a success.  The many donations of new and good used toys, and items for teens, were greatly appreciated. Our special thanks to: Members and friends of First United Church of Christ who diligently cleaned, repaired, and organized items for distribution. The Sunday School at First U.C.C. for sharing their donations collected on “white gift” Sunday. St. John’s Lutheran Church-Prairie du Sac for the toys their Sunday School collected. Sauk Prairie Earthlings 4-H Club for their donations. Area churches that helped “spread the word” and collected items. Dana Fehrenbach and friends of D. Marie Knit and Fiber for the wonderful knit scarves, hats, shawls, … The students at Grand Avenue School who collected many boxes of toys! Individuals that gave monetary gifts. The Bank of Prairie du Sac for their generous monetary contribution. J. Sliter Buildings for the generous monetary donation. Leaps and Bounds Childcare for their donations. LAF Boutique for the generous items and support. Tools of Marketing for their generous monetary gift. The items were made available to approximately 75 adults on the day of the distribution.  Thank you, Sauk Prairie, for your gifts of kindness.  As in the past,  you made the holidays brighter for our children and youth. With respect and thanks,   Margaret McFarlane H.E.L.P. Coordinator First United Church of Christ Sauk City
