Meanwhile, homeschool and virtual charter school enrollment rose substantially.

“Education didn’t slow,” said Taylor County Supervisor Mike Bub of Medford. “It stopped.”

Officials extend $100 incentive for COVID-19 vaccine

Wisconsinites who receive a first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine can get $100.

The rewards program was extended to Sept. 19, and it’s open to those 12 and older. Gov. Tony Evers and the Wisconsin Department of Health Services announced the extension on Sept. 3.

Law of the Month: Be careful around school buses

Wisconsin State Patrol wants drivers to pay extra attention now that school is back in session.

Not only does this mean more traffic around schools, but it also translates to buses making frequent stops to collect and release children. There are also more kids on the street as they bike and walk their way to and from classes.
