There has been no lack of action for the Reedsburg Beaver volleyball team in recent days as the squad played eight matches over the course of five days, all of them away from the comforts of the RAHS gym.
The fortunes for the Beaver girls golf team this fall were expected to be of a positive nature with five experienced seniors rounding out the lineup and that positivity has indeed been a real thing. Reedsburg has won five dual matches, four of them in conference play and they have now won three team titles in multi-team events as well.
The Reedsburg Beaver football team is enjoying the 2022 season to date. Reedsburg is playing in the Mississippi Valley Conference for the first time and they’re off to a 2-0 start in their new league and the Beavers are 4-0 overall to start the season after Friday’s 30-15 win over La Crosse Logan at Millennium Field.
Reedsburg played a strong second half and notched its second win of the high school boys soccer season, a 2-0 victory over Watertown last Tuesday at RAHS.
After enjoying the fruits of success in a week one victory, the Wonewoc-Center/Weston Silverwolves co-op football team had a rough go of it last week, dropping a 44-16 decision at Oakfield in eight-man football action.
It will be a late start to the regular season schedule for the Weston Silver Eagle volleyball team as the squad waits to play its first matches this week and they’ll open this week with a new Head Coach. Maggie Landsinger takes over for Kayla Duren and is looking forward to the opportunity to lead the program.
The Reedsburg Pirates lost only three of 14 games this season in Night League Home Talent Baseball. Unfortunately for the Pirates, the third loss prevented a league championship as Reedsburg lost 8-4 to the Verona Cavaliers in the Night League Playoff title game last Thursday at Reedsburg’s Nishan Park.
It was a close but very fruitful dual match for the Reedsburg Beaver girls tennis team on the road at Baraboo this past Thursday. Five of the seven matches vs. the Thunderbirds went three sets but the Beavers won them all en route to a 7-0 dual match win in conference play.
Reedsburg was unable to add to the victory column on the soccer field last week as the Beavers dropped a conference match at Mount Horeb and a non-conference decision at River Valley in boys soccer.
