The Peewee A Hockey Team qualified for State. It won the last game in overtime, which qualified it for the State contest on March 8 in Somerset.

Reedsburg Wrestling was certainly well represented over the weekend at the Kohl Center in Madison, which was the site for the WIAA State Individual Wrestling Tournament.

Nolen Waldner was able to experience victory in his first ever WIAA State Tournament wrestling match last Thursday evening for the Ithaca/Weston co-op in D-3 action at the Kohl Center in Madison.

History was made Saturday in Platteville for the Reedsburg Beaver gymnasts.

The Reedsburg Beaver boys basketball knew that last Thursday night would be a tough assignment as Reedsburg closed out the conference season and regular season schedule at Mount Horeb against a Vikings team that spent some time in the state rankings earlier this season.

The girls basketball season for the Reedsburg Beavers came to a close this past weekend but not before some excitement from the Beavers at RAHS and more amazing feats from senior guard Sydney Cherney.

Sauk-Prairie High School was the site for this year’s Badger Conference Girls Gymnastics Meet and although it wasn’t a top-flight day as a team for Reedsburg in terms of placing and scoring, two Beaver gymnasts did leave the gym Saturday afternoon as Conference Champions.

A strong second half to the Badger Lightning girls hockey season came to a finish sooner than hoped last week with an opening round WIAA Playoff loss to the Cap City Cougars at the Pierce Park Pavilion in Baraboo by a final score of 3-2 on Thursday night.

Each team enters post-season competition hoping they can make a magical run and keep their season alive for as long as possible.
