Reedsburg will see a couple of Badger Conference foes this week in high school boys basketball action.
The Beavers were set to play a make-up game Tuesday at DeForest in a Badger Conference cross-over game originally scheduled for Dec. 9 before the Beavers travel to Baraboo Friday night for a Badger West contest around 7:15 p.m.
The Reedsburg Beaver girls basketball team has had a successful season away from RAHS this season, winning four of five games to date, but the Reedsburg girls picked up the first win of the home schedule last week, downing La Crosse Logan, 52-42.
It was a short but productive week in terms of game action for the Reedsburg/Wisconsin Dells/Mauston boys high school hockey co-op. RWD had just one game for the week and it was a dominating performance in a 3-0 victory over the Tomah/Sparta co-op at RACA in Reedsburg.
Reedsburg played well in an early season boys basketball victory over Watertown but the Beavers have not been able to back into the victory column since. Reedsburg fell to 1-5 for the season overall with a fourth straight loss last Tuesday, dropping a 72-55 Badger West decision at Sauk-Prairie.
The losing skid has now reached four in a row for the Badger Lightning girls hockey co-op as the area squad suffered a 2-0 loss last week in a tightly contested Badger Conference matchup.
Weston faced one of the top teams on it girls basketball schedule last week as Ridge and Valley Conference contender Kickapoo paid a visit to Weston High School. Kickapoo struggled early but gained their footing on their way to a 57-16 league victory.
