First-year Head Coach Chris Meyer has announced the team awards for Weston Silver Eagle Boys Basketball for this season.

Weston won six games this year, including a conference win over LaFarge, and started the season 2-0 and 3-2 in the first five games.

Coach Rick Capener has announced the team awards winners for this season for Badger Lightning girls hockey.

Another fine season for the Reedsburg Beaver girls basketball program was honored recently with the end-of-season awards banquet.

We’re not yet at the end of March but the Reedsburg Beaver Track and Field teams already have two indoor meets in the books from this past weekend.

This is the time of year when high school athletes from the winter sports season are recognized and honored for their achievements.

Many players from the Reedsburg/Wisconsin Dells/Mauston boys hockey co-op were honored Saturday night as the player awards for RWD were announced by Head Coach Neil Mattson.

The weather this week feels like spring and the Reedsburg Beaver track teams have taken advantage to hold outdoor workouts although the teams will head indoors for a couple of meets this weekend to kick off the regular season.

It’s not exactly breaking news that Reedsburg’s Sydney Cherney has been one of the top players in the Badger Conference in girls basketball in recent years, especially in this just completed season.
