More and more can be accomplished with our cellphones these days, and two library apps now make a trip to the library easier than ever! PrinterOn makes sending print jobs to the library a cinch, and the LINKcat app can be used for many library functions, including checking out your books.

Viking hosts pictures with Easter Bunny

Viking Village Foods will offer photos with the Easter Bunny on March 23.

The Bunny will be at the store from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Bring your own camera or phone to take pictures.

Participation is free but donations of canned food would be appreciated for the Reedsburg Area Food Pantry.

Volunteer news for March

This past month I joined the Farmer Angel Network team. For those that don’t know, The Farmer Angel Network was established in 2018 after a local farmer died by suicide. It is a group comprised of volunteers in our community who support agriculture by providing education, resources and fellowship with a focus on mental health.

Leaf pickup begins March 25

Reedsburg residents can expect to see public works crews out starting March 25.

Spring leaf cleanup will start on that date and continue through April 26.

Leaves should be left on the tree bank. Branches should be in a separate pile. Don’t put materials in the street or on the sidewalk.

Blood drive set at Community Center

A Reedsburg Community Blood Drive will be held March 25 at the Recreation Center.

Hours will be 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Rec Center is located in the basement of Reedsburg City Hall.

Appointments are preferred but walk-ins are also welcome.

Ambulance Department holds ribbon-cutting ceremony

Residents will have the chance to check out the new addition at the Reedsburg Ambulance Department.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 8:45 a.m. March 22 at 230 Railroad St. There is no charge to attend.
