Numerous items went before Reedsburg Common Council Monday night.

In one order of business, Council approved a memorandum of understanding with KMD Development for a multi-tenant commercial building. It will be 11,700 square feet and located on North Viking Drive between 20^th Street and Cottontail Lane.

The Sauk County Board of Supervisors will hold a special meeting regarding the Health Care Center in Reedsburg. It will begin at 5 p.m. March 28 at the West Square Building, Room 326, in Baraboo.

Area residents have made the honors and dean’s lists at their respective colleges. Here is a listing of those students along with all related information provided by their schools.

Viterbo University

Rowan Lindloff, 4, completed the 1,000 Books before Kindergarten program through the Reedsburg Public Library on Feb. 19.

Royal Bank, in partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago, awarded $25,000 to Township Bowl in Hillsboro.  From left are alley owners Lonny Shore, Hedy Shore and bank representative Brian Banker. The money was granted to help repair roof and interior damage that was caused by heavy rain.

Reedsburg Area Medical Center Foundation will present this year’s VetFest on April 13 at the Reedsburg Area Veteran’s Memorial at Nishan Park.

Registration is open now for runners and walkers.

Sacred Heart’s next Mobile Pantry will begin at 4 p.m. March 28 at the Reedsburg VFW.

As always, this will be a drive-through-only event. Stay in your vehicle and volunteers will bring food to place in your trunk.

Anyone who needs food is welcome.

Distribution will take place while supplies last.

Representatives from SSM Health St. Clare Hospital and Madison College present a $2,000 scholarship to Jeffrey Taylor of Portage on March 7. Taylor is in his fourth semester of the nursing program at Madison College. This scholarship is made possible through the Madison College – Reedsburg Celebrate a Nurse 5K event.

Commander Jesse Arias from the Reedsburg American Legion Post 350 presents a $1,400 dollar donation to the Badger Honor Flight. Badger Honor Flight is a regional affiliate of the national Honor Flight Network.
