Here are a few tips to help you on your way to vote.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. April 2.

In Reedsburg, the polling place is the basement of City Hall.

If you live outside the city and are unsure of your polling location, visit myvote.wi.gov/en-us.

Fire equipment donation raises questions

A contribution planned for the Pioneer Log Village in Reedsburg raised concerns during this month’s Sauk County Board of Supervisors meeting.

The Board ultimately approved giving an old fire hose and wagon to the Reedsburg Area Historical Society. Both have been on the Sauk County Farm.

Fire displaces Reedsburg residents

A Reedsburg home was destroyed March 19 in a fire.

At about 1:56 a.m., the Reedsburg Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a home on fire in Hazel Circle near Lake Virginia. The residents had evacuated before crews arrived on scene.

Egg Hunt planned in City Park

The Reedsburg Professional Police Association will hold its Annual Easter Candy Hunt on March 30.

It will begin at 11 a.m. in Reedsburg City Park.

Children 8 and younger are invited to collect eggs.
