Recently a group of seventeen Australians visited the area and toured Richland Center’s A.D. German Warehouse after a visit to the Taliesin Complex in Spring Green. Both are of course well known to fans of Frank Lloyd Wright, who was born in Richland Center. The group was visiting a number of F.L. Wright buildings in the Midwest, and they made a special effort to come and observe the unique architecture of the only warehouse Wright ever designed. which is one of the few remaining buildings designed during his “organic” period. Volunteer docents from the A.D. German Warehouse Conservancy conducted the tour.
