Beaver wrestlers host Portage this week with conference dual meet title on line


Clarence Lee is this year’s lone inductee into the Reedsburg Athletic Hall of Fame and he will be inducted Friday night at RAHS prior to the Reedsburg-Portage dual meet. Lee was an assistant coach in the Beaver wrestling program at Webb High School from 1965 to 1977 under six head coaches, and also served as head coach in 1967 and 68. Coach Rob Bautch figured his Beaver wrestling squad would be a good dual meet team this season with depth throughout the lineup, especially now that all 14 weight classes can be filled. That proof continues as the Beavers cruised to another Badger West victory last week, routing Baraboo 68-12.
