Discover Wisconsin is launching its annual calendar contest, and residents across the state are invited to submit their photos.

The long-running TV show partners with the Wisconsin Counties Association every year to hold the contest and put out the calendar. Calendars for 2022 feature the top 12 selected pictures. The best picture, which will be chosen by the Discover Wisconsin crew, will be featured on the cover.

Calendars try to highlight Wisconsin’s beauty and diversity of scenery.

Entries will be accepted through May 31. For details, visit bobber.discoverwisconsin.com/2022-calendar-contest/. Winners will be announced on social media.

Applicants must submit an original digital photo at least 300dpi and no smaller than 5’’ by 7’’ in a jpeg format. It must feature a Wisconsin destination and include the photographer’s name, address, email address, photo location and photo caption.

The 2020 winning photo showed a summer sunset over a sunflower field in Shawano County. It was taken by Eric O’Dell, and was chosen from more than 1,300 submissions.

Calendars will be available for purchase this fall at shop.discoverwisconsin.com.
