When Beaver girls basketball Head Coach Mark Simon took his team to the State Tournament for the first time in the 2011-2012 season, New Berlin Eisenhower was the opponent and the Lions, led by the WBCA Player of the Year Nicole Bauman, had their way with the Beavers in a 47-28 D-2 state semi-final win at the Kohl Center in Madison.
