Gillmore completes mechanical class

Randi Osborne, a teacher at Weston, recently had a student, Alli Gillmore, complete her consumer equipment maintenance and repair class. This course was made possible through a Briggs & Stratton grant presented to Southwest Technical College. The grant provided classroom materials and covered the cost of training Osborne to teach the class at Weston. In order for Gillmore to complete this class, she had to demonstrate how to disassemble and reassemble a motor, and she passed by having a full running engine. Gillmore is the first student at Weston to get transcripted credits from Southwest Tech by completing this class.
